A superb culinary experience. Unique food combinations with a seaweed twist. Food that would not be out of place in a Michelin restaurant and service to match.
Wonderful way to finish a day in Lofoten.
An outstanding meal, prepared in front of us, with seaweed in every course, and an explanation of the different types of seaweed. The food was all fantastic, from perfectly prepared breads and seaweed butter through a seaweed broth and confit of halibut with seaweed polenta, through to a non-dairy ice cream with seaweed sauce. We also opted for the wine pairing – every wine was excellent.
We had a beautiful evening at Tangeriet. The food was excellent, the atmosphere very nice and the staff friendly. It was interesting to learn about the different types of seaweed and taste them in a variety of dishes.
My family had a sumptuous meal we will never forget. My children (4 & 9 yrs) have never eaten so enthusiastically in a restaurant! All of us were blown away by the diversity of food coming from the local sea environment and how tasty and creative it could be, as well as they intimate, friendly and professional atmosphere created by the staff. We will definitely come again if we get the chance.
Thanks for a great dinner. I heard about Tangeriet and the concept a couple of years back from Angelita, the founder. Very inspired and impressed about everything that was served. It was delicious, very nicely presented and I am fascinated about their future mindset round healthy food, to eat more from the sea, joy and sustainability.
We had a wonderful evening here and all dishes we’re Just amazing for us . So many different flavours and such harmony in everything.
We are so happy that we had a Chance to eat here while we were in holiday at the Lofoten.
