Coleslaw with Sugar Kelp

A simple and delicious coleslaw, perfect as s side to your favorite burger or salad. We recommend using as a side with our vegan-friendly rice-burger .

Makes 8 portions


400g white cabbage
100g carrots
30g dried sugar kelp
4 tbsp mayonnaise
3 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp white wine vinegar
2 tsp Smokey Seaweed Salt
2 tsp sugar
3 spring onions


Soak a sugar kelp  in cold water for one hour
Peel carrots and outer leaves of cabbage then slice thinly
Rinse sugar kelp with cold water, dry with cloth and slice into strips
Combine Mayonnaise with salt, sugar, olive oil, and vinegar
Mix together all the vegetables and combine with dressing, mix well.
Decorate your Colslow with finely chopped spring onions
