Jacek boasts 14 years of experience working all over the world, from Japan and Vietnam to a Michelin restaurant in Finland. His unique combination of Asian and Nordic flavours are exactly what encapsulates Lofoten Seaweed.
Our menu combines local products and hand harvested seaweed from Nappstraumen. Over the course of the evening, you will be introduced to several species, including our world-famous Truffle seaweed, Dulse (once used as a beer snack by the Vikings), Winged kelp (wakame) and Sugar kelp (kombu) most commonly used in traditional Japanese cuisine. Seaweed is present on every dish.
Even though we have now officially closed our restaurant for the public after an amazing season with 5-star reviews on TripAdvisor, we are happy to announce that we will be open for group and event bookings throughout September!
Welcome to our pop-up restaurant Tangeriet, in the little fishing village of Napp.
